Dock Grade Elves At It Again
The ornaments are up again on Dock Grade Road for the holiday season with over 300 ornaments adorning the trees from the bottom to the top of Dock Grade. And the town Xmas tree is standing tall in the Riverview Bank parking lot, awaiting its holiday decorations. The Dock Grade ornaments were retied and preped in only a couple of hours on Saturday, then hung with care in 7 hours on Sunday, even while the town Xmas tree was being cut, transported and set up.
It’s time to thank the elves that made this happen this year, including Izak, Ryan, Matt, Shari, Eric, Ria, John, Joyce, Ron, Barbara, Allan, Pam, Krystyna, Lorrie and Lloyd. The whole community owes a debt of gratitude for their efforts in bringing wonder and enjoyment back to the drive up Dock Grade and the tree lighting.
If you haven’t seen this years display yet, be sure to take the drive up Dock Grade before snow closes the road. Also be sure to join your friends and neighbors for the lighting of the town Xmas tree from 4:30-7:00 PM on December 3rd. This year’s tree lighting event at Riverview Bank will include the traditional Library Wassail, firepits for s’mores, goodies from Encounter Church, Xmas music and a fire truck visit by Santa to help with the tree lighting.
And let us know what you think of the treat in the comments below.
