The City of White Salmon will celebrate the 150th anniversary of Arbor Day on March 19. The event will be held at Rheingarten Park from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The City of White Salmon will be hosting a table giving away a free bag of bark chips and a tree seedling for each family. The city will also be providing information regarding its efforts to address climate change in our community. A survey regarding park planning will also be available.

The City encourages everyone to plant a tree to celebrate Arbor Day and to get outside and look at the wonderful trees in our community.
