Community Pool Virtual Town Hall
You’re invited to a Community Pool Virtual Town Hall on May 26 at 7 PM to find out from your Park District Commissioners about the plans and progress toward building a new White Salmon Valley Pool. You’ll see and learn where the project stands now, how we got here, why the project looks this way, and why now is the time to help support the effort to finally build the new pool facility. Commissioners and construction consultants will provide presentations and be available to answer questions about the pool project. Click here to subscribe and keep updated about the pool location, design, and to follow our community’s progress as we prepare to SWIM, PLAY, LIVE!
Five elected district commissioners and dozens of motivated volunteers have been working since 2019 to build a new pool as quickly as possible. More than 5,000 hours of time and $1.6 million has been contributed to the project so far. It is a particular priority of the Pool Park District to bring back free swim lessons for grade-schoolers, especially as we head into summer and we recognize that May is Water Safety Month.
But first, we must build the pool. It’s time to start making memories again.
