I’m Dreaming of a White Salmon
Holiday Tree Lighting – 1st Saturday in December
*4:30pm to 6pm: Outdoor fire pits will be lit around the White Salmon Holiday Tree at Riverview Bank
*Santa, Christmas music, caroling, holiday booths, hot chocolate and S’mores makin’s will be available for all to enjoy, and to keep everyone warm and in the spirit of the day while awaiting:
*~5 pm: Lighting the White Salmon Holiday Tree, the Grand Finale of the day
As a hush comes over the crowd, the Mayor and all the children take a deep breath, then blow on the tree to magically bring it blazing alight.
This is THE community family event of the season in Bingen and White Salmon,
so don’t miss enjoying the start of the holiday season with your family, friends, visitors,
and the rest of our community.
Hopefully next year we’ll be able to resume the full day’s activities that in the past included: Arts, Crafts, and Music
*Start the day with Santa’s Breakfast and Bazaar
at Henkle Middle School 7:30 to 11:30
Pancakes, sausage and beverages for $5/person or $15/family of five, $3 for seniors and K-8 students, and $2 for preschoolers. Photos with Santa 8:00 to noon, package prices.
*Beginning at 12pm: Downtown White Salmon shops will open with food and drink, artists, entertainment, demonstrations, lots of gift ideas, and warm spaces.
*From 2pm to 5pm: The White Salmon Community Library’s
annual Holiday Wassail Event:
*Demonstrations and hands-on crafts for kids, music, seasonal snacks, and the traditional wassail punch provide a family-friendly afternoon for all ages.
