Community Cleanup – Fri-Sat April 25-26
Community Cleanup is coming Friday & Saturday, April 25-26, 9:00am-4:45pm. This is your yearly chance to clean out, repurpose or adopt unneeded items, and dispose of unwanted stuff that can’t be used again. Community Cleanup has been a Rotary Club service project for 29 years, helping the community to get rid of or pass on things like:
- Recyclable Scrap Metal
- Clean recyclables – separated paper, #1 & #2 recyclable plastics, glass, cans, flattened cardboard, clean styrofoam
- Used tires OFF THE RIMS
- Household appliances – washers, dryers, stoves, heaters, A/C, refrigerators, etc.
- Non-recyclable debris
- Bicycles – any condition
- Household items – clothing, furniture, household batteries (if sorted)
- Compostable yard debris – brush, limbs, leaves, grass clippings, weeds, pine needles, etc.
- Computers and electronics – TVs, monitors, computers, cell phones, printers, stereos, DVD players, wires & cords, etc.
- Reusable building and household materials – windows, doors, tile, flooring, sinks, tubs, lighting, plumbing, lumber, etc.
- Paint – still liquid polyethylene, polystyrene, polyurethane
- NO HAZARDOUS WASTE – cleaners, pesticides, auto fluids, daily kitchen waste, vehicles requiring licensing

If you don’t want to sell:
- There will be FREE PILES on the map where you can leave things.
- Post your things on the Buy Nothing Facebook page
- Drop fabric goods of any kind to the Seventh Day Adventist Church in White Salmon
- Take donation items directly to Gorge Rebuild-it Center
