The Xmas Elves Have Been at Work Again
Have you noticed that the ornaments are up on Dock Grade and the White Salmon Xmas Tree in another unique and spectacular display for the enjoyment of our community and many others who come to see them each year.
We want to remind everyone that you can donate new plastic ornaments (6-inch diameter or larger) by contacting us at CommunityPartnersBWS@gmail.com or leaving them at the Mt. Adams Chamber of Commerce office on SR-14 near the bridge. And/or you can donate cash through our PayPal link at CommunityPartnersBWS.org to help purchase new ornaments for an even better show next year.
We also want to say thank-you to the many anonymous elves who donated the tree, their time and the equipment to prepare and hang the ornaments, and the cash and ornament donations that help perpetuate this somewhat quirky tradition.
Most important of all – we encourage everyone to gather with kids, friends and neighbors at the White Salmon Xmas Tree Lighting on the 1st Saturday in December (Dec. 7) beginning about 4:30. There will be S’mores fixin’s and fire pits, cookies galore and other treats while we wait for Santa to arrive on a fire truck and for the Big Blow when the kids blow the lights ON.
Looking forward to seeing you all there,
Community Partners
